Markel takes part in Insurance Post’s niche markets roundtable
Justine Dignam, Director of Marketing joined other industry experts in a roundtable discussion on “How to offer a niche insurance user experience”. The article is featured in November’s edition of Insurance Post and can also be found online.
Justine discussed the approach that Markel take and champion when it comes to niche solutions:
“It’s about providing solutions rather than providing products, it’s much more about listening to the needs of the customer and finding out what problems they’ve got and what hurdles they have to overcome on a daily basis and then developing products and services around those.”
The panel discussed the importance of a customer-led thought process, personalisation of communications and service as well as whether digital helps customers in buying insurance or whether it adds to the confusion.
