Markel Appoints Senior Equine Claims Adjuster
Markel International, London, March 20, 2017 --- Markel International, the specialist insurer, has appointed Claire Lane as senior equine claims adjuster.
She will report to Doune Robinson, claims manager, and work closely with her and other members of the claims team to deliver Markel’s commitment to providing brokers and their clients with a claims service that is an active reason for brokers to place business with Markel.
Claire had previously been at Hughes Gibb for nearly ten years, latterly as equestrian claims manager and has had 14 years’ experience in the insurance industry. She has a BSc in Equine Science and is currently studying for an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Doune Robinson said: “Claire’s an experienced claims practitioner with a strong academic and professional background in equine science and the bloodstock industry. She has strong and established connections with all the counterparties involved in claims handing. We think she’ll be a great addition to the team.”
